Good News!

Come to Jesus!

Here is the little pictograph I spent all afternoon making to show you how easy it is to know God for all eternity.  He has provided a really amazing way to come to Him, and I’m thankful for that – because believe me – I’d never get to heaven on my own power!  I’m just not that good.

The Lord Jesus Christ invites you to trust Him as your personal Savior. He also loves you and me even though we are not worthy of His love, John 3:16.

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.”

And, because we are unworthy of His love as sinners, we deserve to suffer separation from Him forever!

Romans 6:23 speaks of this separation as eternal death, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.”

Eternal death is separation from God for all eternity!

But, there is wonderful news!  The Lord Jesus Christ loves us in spite of our sinfulness.

Romans 5:8 tells us “…God demonstrated His love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Christ took the judgment of our sins on the cross.  He took our death, so we might have life.

Salvation comes by simply trusting in Him.

Ephesians 2:8,9 states, “For by grace are you saved by faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

If you are not trusting Christ for your salvation, you don’t have eternal life. You can have eternal life, right now, by trusting Christ as your Savior. You must agree with God that you are a sinner and then you must place your trust in Him to give you eternal life.

Jesus said in John 5:24, “Truly, truly I say unto you, he who hears my word, and believes Him who sent me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”

  1. Obviously, this is simplified. And I’m absolutely NOT a pastor, teacher, scholar, or theologian. I’m just sharing with you what I believe the Bible says about having fellowship with the Creator of the Universe! Oh, and obviously I’m not that big of an artist either ;o)
